The Hancock-Clarke House is a historic Revolutionary
War site on Hancock Street in Lexington, Massachusetts.
It played a prominent role in the Battle of Lexington
and Concord as both John Hancock and Samuel Adams,
leaders of the colonials,
were staying in the house before the battle.
The Old Manse is a house famous for its American literary
associations. It is located beside the Old North Bridge
over the Concord River in Concord, Massachusetts,
and now owned and operated as a nonprofit museum by
the Trustees of Reservations.
Abbotsford is a historic
house in the region of Scottish Borders in the
south of Scotland, near Melrose, on south bank of
the River Tweed. It was formerly the residence of
novelist Walter Scott.
